TOAD: January 18th, 2007: I really like neon at night. Like, a lot. I also like weiner schnitzel a whole lot and Steinhof is an excellent place to go or that as well as other hearty, eastern European fare.

    I disagree. I think Steinhoff looks better than it tastes. For me, it falls into the Park Slope eatery problem: we look cute, we don’t taste that great.

    I do love their steamy windows in the Winter though. It’s so inviting and everyone always looks like they are having the best time with their kraut. I would be happy to enjoy a beer there anytime.

    In any case, great photo.
