TOAD: March 14th, 2007: The last night we were in Austin, Karen and I made our second visit to the Rappolo’s Pizza Wagon for a late night slice of Pizza Supreme. As Karen and I were leaning over the counter to see what kinds of pies they had ready, someone beside her asked “Are you ok?”. We both looked over and Karen was a bit befuddled whereas I knew what was going on right away. “It’s Matt Saracen!!” I said, to which (a somewhat inebirated) Matt Saracen responded “My name is Zach”. We proceeded to tell him how much we loved Friday Night Lights and Karen confessed that we “root for you every week!”. Matt was really nice and accomodating when it took me about 6 tries to get my camera to function properly and get a good photo. This was a perfect way to wrap up our time in Austin.
