TOAD: June 10th, 2007: Karen and I participated in the Avon Need for Speed Relay last weekend. Karen’s an experienced runner but this was my first race and I had an excellent time. The photo above marked the starting line for the all the teams at Bear Mountain. About seven and a half hours later we’d find ourselves knee deep in Sam Adams Summer Beer and Buffalo Wild Wings. Karen will be weighing in with more details shortly (in the meantime, check out her photos here).
