Here’s Pitchfork’s list of the 50 best albums of the year. It tends to be a great way to catch up on what you might have missed. Make a list and then head over to your nearest bit torrent legal download service and go get some!

Some of my personal fav’s:

44 Les Savy FavLet’s Stay Friends
- still getting into this one but so far I like it alot.

43 Stars of the LidAnd Their Refinement of the Decline
- some of the best background music you’ll ever hear and I mean that in the best way possible.

36 Iron and WineThe Shepherd’s Dog
- just good stuff.

18 Kanye WestGraduation
- he can really be a huge ass but the good songs on this album are REALLY good.

13 Jay-ZAmerican Gangster
- back to Blueprint-era Jay-Z

10 BurialUntrue
- this melancholic, mesmerizing album one might be my #1

09 The FieldFrom Here We Go Sublime
- a little electro, a little dance.

I also really loved the Live Daft Punk album, Alive.

If there are any you particularly liked and want to recommend, throw them in the comments. Thanks!
