Little Peanut at Two Months

Elise is two months old now! I can’t believe how fast time has gone by so far. It feels like it was just last week that we were driving over the Brooklyn Bridge to get to NYU to have this cute little peanut. But now she’s 8+ weeks old and she is doing great. She’s active and smiling and total joy.

We’re having so much fun with Elise, and she’s been keeping busy. In her 8 weeks, Elise has made it to Baby Yoga, Stroller Strides class, Move it Mommas class, Prospect Park almost everyday it doesn’t rain, Brooklyn Botanic Garden on free Tuesdays, Bark for more burgers than she has fingers, an El Destructo softball game, followed by beers at Dram Shop (yes we snuck a baby into a bar), Long Island for Mother’s Day, Williamsburg for brunch, sushi at Blue Ribbon, dinner at Flatbush Farm, AOC Bistro, Lure Fish Bar, and Brooklyn Fish Camp, slept through a sleep class (ha!), hosted a stoop sale and even did a little shopping at Target one morning. She’s been a busy city baby! We’ve also started going to a new Mom’s group at Boing in South Slope and we’re hoping to make it to Babes and Beers tomorrow which is a happy hour organized by new Moms in the neighborhood. If anyone knows me, you know babes and beers is right in my wheelhouse (your Mom likes happy hour, Elise!). While our neighborhood is a little crazed about hating on kids and their crazy parents, it’s also very easy to get out and do stuff with a new baby and luckily Elise has a lot of energy and is up for the adventures.
